Malmö again!

Hi everyone!
I had one more trip back to Malmö before christmas.It was just a quick visit because I had to visit my grandmother before she is going bbad because of her medical treatment. It will be a long process but I hope she will be fine after that. I also whent out with my youngest brotherand my father on a shoppingtour and had lunch.
Luckly I came this weekend when it was my frandfathers birthday so we celebrate him aswell. We also putt up all the christmass stuff when they was there.

Look how awsome my brother look. I also learnd him how to tie a tie. So proudof him! He was going a "Lucia tåg" in church and was the only one of the boys that know how to tie a tie.(But he does note have a tie on the pic...)

Home to Mamlö

Just had a trip back to Malmö. I had my new camera with me so I took lots of pictures. My family and two other families were making candles together. Its an tradition that we had for a few years. We arrived on the Thursday night. On Friday did my bf and I go to Emporia to have lunch with my mother. I took some dumplings and spring rolls. with noodles. I also got to meet my sister and one of her friends that I also know very well.

After the food my sister and I went on a small shopping tour and believe it or not. My bf didn't wanna join first but he was the one that spent most money of us all! But he bought new super expensive new knives. I bought some new make up brushes and a new super cozy Christmas shirt with Darth Vader on it. I also visited my grandparents on the evening. But it was a very short visit because i we was suppose to eat dinner at home. I also colored my hair! it turned out super nice and I really like it.

On the Saturday we made lots of candles. It took the whole day to make. We made them the old fashion way. I also eat so much food so I started to feel pretty ill when I was going to sleep. I'm not used to eat that much and especially not all that lactose. But I can tell that it was worth it!

Steampunk hat Tutorial

For a few days I made a steampunk hat and I decided to make a tutorial of the progress. I normally don't dress up as a steampunk and sorry if i break any specific rules. But I really like how it turned out.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

1. Materials

The materials I decided do use is foam, contact glue (decided to use a glue gun instead because I was in a hurry), black and gold paint (think I used acrylic paint), a chain, a black ribbon and some LED lights.

I was suppose to use the green thing to make some decor but then I change my mind.

2. Cut out the parts

Use a part of thick foam (mine was 1cm) and cut out the parts for the base of your hat.

It can be a bit tricky to take out the perfect size of the part. I had 56 cm around my head and made a square 59*12cm  and two different circles one withe a hole in the middle. Make sure that the square fits around the smaller circle and inside the whole of the bigger one. Don't really know how to describe it but take a look at the photo and you will understand. (the square is much higher than 12 cm! made it smaller after the photo!)

If you are not sure what size you wanna make your hat I recommend to try make one in paper first.

3. Make a base of the hat

Glue everything together with hot glue or contact glue so it looks like this. 

Make sure that it fits your head.

4. Prepare lights

Make a hole in the hat and put the lights through it.

5. More foam!

Take the fin foam (2mm) and cut it in different square. 

Glue it on the hat base until it is totally covered with the thin foam

Remember to keep a hole for the light so you can put them on later.

6. Painting

You can pain the hat in what color you like but i started with a black base. remember to also paint the inside. 

Then I use a gold color and use a big brush (I actually use an old make up brush but use what you have at home) and then just very little color and put all over the hat. The messier the better so don't be to pedantic about it.

I also did the same to the black ribbon and there you can also se the brush that I was using.

7. Decoration

You can decor your hat however you want. I attach the ribbon around the hat and the LED around. I also decided to put on a chain on the front to make it look more awesome.

8. Battery

To keep the battery in place I just made a little box with some leftover foam and a ribon that I glued in the top of the hat.

9. Finish!

Try your new hat and be proud of what you have created. ;)

Exams over... or not

Exams should be over now but my teacher decided to move one of them to next week so I'm not done yet sadly. But I have take a few days break from my studding because I start to get head ache every time I try to study.  Yesterday was the CSN-sittning (Celeber spritnatt or something like that). It was really fun but I bite my tongue pretty hard so it still hurts a lot... But we won so it's ok.

I have also bought some new games that I have start playing. I wasn't introduced to gaming when I was younger so I have to play all the old good games now instead.
Lots of gaming hours are waiting fore me!

I'm In a podcast

I was interviewed in a podcast called 'Nördhörnan' a few days ago! We was talking about cosplay and nerd culture and the world outside the cosplayworld.
It's kinda hilarious to hear yourself and I'm really not used to talk to like this and it is so obvious XD

My new coat is done!

This is not cosplay related but i have started to study Japanese fore a year and taking a break from my normal studding. And we have got our coats and i am so proud of mine so I wanna show you. 
Hope you like it as much as I do! ^^
I have painted everything by myself and put on al the marks. I also edited the waist so it should have more girly forms and suite me much better.
Now it is only the special ceremony and it has to get dirty before I can start wearing it!

Sister turns 19

My sister tuned 19 this Saturday so we took a trip to Gothenburg to celebrate her. We was at lissebberg. It was so long time since i went to a tivoli so it was pretty scary even if I know I will love after. The last ride was deftly the best ride during the whole day. They had speed up the roller coaster so much on the evening that i was chocked. When it start I knew directly that this would be awesome and I actually screamed a bit. Normally I don't do it so it was a good sign. After that we all looked like tards so I had to buy the pic. I also bought one copy to my sister.
But I must say that my bf is the cutest of them all <3

Trip to malmö

Hi guys!
This weekend I took a trip home to meet my parent. I haven't been home since my sister graduate so it was time. I arrived at Friday and eat dinner with my parents.

On Saturday I went out in the town and meet some friends. First I was suppose to go and swim with some friends. But I lost my motivation because of a lot of arguing so i met some other friends in town instead and spend a lot of money. It is not everyday i have the chance to visit the sci fi store so when i got the chance i have to spend a lot. I bought a new Japanese language book and two Japanese manga books and some other stuff. I also bought a new te pot and more new green te. I only buy te from a special shop in Malmö so i buy a lot every time i go there.

After the shopping we was going to eat. I ordered some dumpling and also tried sim bun. the bun with meet wasn't that tasty so I only eat the brad. But I also tried one with vanilla cream inside and it was delicious. But I feel a bit sorry for my bf that has to walk around in Malmö for 6 hours.

On Sunday was my grandparent over and eat lunch before we had to go to the train and I also bought a lot of fabric for my coming cosplay project I will start on! I'm so exited!

Supergirl

Got two wonderful pictures from När-Con of my supergirl cosplay that I just have to show.

I must say that this is not my type of cosplay at all because I am not comfy about showing my stomach after i quit swiming. So it was a verry big challange for me to just walk around the con and I even had alot of fun. m superproud of myself. It is a nice feeling to hear that people liked my costume even if i am not superskinny or have big Boobs.

När-Con Summer 2015

Im home frome När-Con.... Or at least back at my grandparants place where I will be working the whole summer.
The convent was prittey bad orgeniced but all the nice lovley people med the convention awsome. It fellt strange to have all the walls around and the gates was prittey messed up. We couldn't go and buy food outside the convention without alot walking much longer then necceserry.

But I arived on wednesday eve. On thursday I was wering my horns that I have been working on. I was so amazed how prittey they turned out. I must say that it was supernice to were a comfy outit during the day at a con. I normally don't like wering dresses but I must say that I start to like it. Hope I can start wering that more often. I also got intervued in a podcast about cosplay and what I my upinions about cosplay. I will se If I can find it and link it when I will come back to Linköping and will have better internet.

On Friday I was wering my Super Girl cosplay. It was superfunny but stressy. First I kind of oversleppt so I had to hurry to a photoshoot. Find some pankakes for breacfast. Whent to a Super Hero Meet up for both Marvel and DC so my friend was dressed as Spiderman. The best of all I find a Powergirl that I took some pictures with. They turned out to be superawsome! I also find one of my favorite cosplayers there, Tine who was waiting fore some frends that was doing a ME!ME!ME! cosplay.  She is so adoreble, always so nice to talk with. I realy like her cosplays.
After the meet up I closed up with the other part of my group, had a nice meal and change over to my Teemo-cosplay.
I was joining the Walk on on the NCC Preshow. It was actually one thing that actually was working at the con. Everything whent nice and smothly and they was actually taking good care of uss. We even got some extratime to practice on stage. It was not so manny people so we had a really nice groop and was dancing in the tent backstage when all the public came.
Up un stage was so fun and I got so much possitive critic both for my performence and my cosplay. Best of all was that I find my sister screaming at me in the public.
Later I find out that you can se the preshow in the background of the pretalk during the TV show so I will try to link it ass soon as I can. The cosplayers that was compeeting was amazing. I was speachless. The one who won was Increddibly awsome and I have no words to describe it.

Saturday was a rainy day. I culdn't go out because I was afraid that the rain was supose to destroy my cosplay. I was stuck in the sam building the whole day. But I was whering my Teemo-cosplay and the new shrooms was glowing the whole day. My groop whent to the photostudio and took some groop pic and I took some with my friends aswell. On the evening my groop whent to see Ant Man but I find some other friends on a restaurant. It was the best thing of the day to eat real food! After that when we came back we did everything that we find out that we wanna to do on a convention. We was raving, made a 'Bög Hög', Sitting in a corner, Cuddling, Was talking 'Killar och Kännslor', Fooling around and alot of more stuff.

The whole mission on Sunday was to find a gift to my sister because she graduated this summer. (Im so proud of her) We went thro alot of shopps and after a while we find the best gift ever.... A PANDA! It was so cute so I bougt two of them, so we are having one each.
The whole thing was ended with lotts of huggs and CHINABUFFE!!!!
Gosh I eate to much food that day. But It was so fun to sitt down with the best and talk throu everything we had done. Because we normaly separate and disapaire frome eachother the whole time, so it is nice to heare what everyone has done during the con.

A quick update

I just want to write a quick update. I dont have much internet here and I work all day long so it is a bit hard to update.But I will try. I have been att my bf place during midsummer. It was so nice. We was sleeping in his parents boat. We were playing lots of games and i got to try to shoot with a air gun. The weekend after we also went out with the boat and the wether was so nice. I was swiming in the water and I hate the sea so I was prittey proud of myself.

Next week my bf will come and visit me and the week after its time for När-Con. It's gonna be so fun. I have to repair my Teemo-cosplay and do a fast Pool-party Teemo. I will also make some horn for an own created outfit. Gonna be so fun. But I can feel the stress comming. I also have to studdy alot.
But Im not going to compeete this year but Im joining the walk on instead just to practice to be on stage.
Gonna be so fun! Can't wait!!! :D

The shoot

Sorry I'm not been writing for so long. I had a lot to do in school.... as always. But i thought i should talk a little bit about the photo shoot i had a few weeks ago.

It was really fun. We were shooting for two days. We shoot outside the first day. We started out with a forest. I was very nervous at the beginning but who isn't. First i had my Eevee cosplay from pokémon and i was sitting an a big hay thing (höbal is it called in Swedish). Then we waked to another forest nearby. And took some more pictures before i  switched to my teemo cosplay. It was a lot of students there who was going by and was looking at me and wander what we was doing. Then I was wearing my Teemo cosplay on the bus back to town where we had lunch and signed some papers. Then we walked to a park to take some more pictures. A lot of people was starring at me. But I guess that is a part of walking around in a silly costume in the middle of town.

And at last we was taking some pictures of my Supergirl cosplay. I have to stand on a really high small thing and I'm really afraid of highs. My friend had to hold my hand the whole time.

The second day we was shooting in a studio. Then I had another friend with me. On the way it was very windy so the buss on nearly drive of the road. It went much faster to shoot this day because we was in a studio. And my friend and I wanted to get home early because of the wind.

Now the photographer has send me all the original photos so I have picked out all the pictures that I like. It gonna be so fun so get the final result. I can't wait to see the final result. Here is some pictures I already have got from the shoot. Must say that I LOVE THEM!

First day of shouting

Now is the first day of shouting done! I'm so tired i just wanna go to sleep now. It was a bit weird at the start but after a while it started to feel much better and you could see the different form the first picture and the last.  And it was really scary. In the end they get me up on a high wall with not that much space to place my feet on. I think i should mention that I'm afraid of highs. I was so glad that i had my friend there to suport me. I was able to hold her hand until he was suppose to take the picture, so then she let me go for just a sec and ran fast back again to gab my hand before it felllt that i was going to fall. It was really scarry! I did not fall so im glad and a bit proud that I manage to go up on the wall!
